Tully Rinckey PLLC is hosting “Structuring Your Small Business,” a lunch and learn workshop, Tuesday, March 27, 2018 from noon to 1 p.m. at its Albany, NY office, located at 441 New Karner Road.
Tully Rinckey PLLC Partner Mario Cometti, Esq., Keystone Financial Management representative Brian McKee and KAFL Insurance Resources CEO Peter Skelton will discuss how to create an operating agreement checklist, how to protect your business’ confidential information and what tax considerations you should make.
Cometti is a seasoned litigator who has represented businesses of all sizes in a wide range of issues, including contract disputes, contract negotiations, dispute resolutions and best business legal practices. He serves as the Chair of the VETCON Alliance – a board consisting of business, education and not-for-profit leaders that runs the annual Veterans in Economic Transition Conference (VETCON) and other statewide initiatives for veterans transitioning to civilian life. He also chairs the University at Albany School of Business’ Center for Advancement and Understanding of Social Enterprises (CAUSE), which promotes social entrepreneurship.
McKee has more than 15 years of experience in insurance and financial services. As an Investment Adviser Representative at Keystone Financial Management, he helps clients build, preserve and transfer wealth utilizing a personalized process that takes the client’s personal goals and values into consideration.
As CEO of KAFL Insurance Resources, Skelton develops relationships with strategic partner accounts in the company’s targeted growth markets. He analyzes which geographic areas have market opportunities and works with his leadership team to develop strategies to grow market share in those regions. Skelton is a past President for the National Brokerage Association, and he was the featured speaker for the Rochester, NY Estate Planning Council covering Secondary Guarantee Life Insurance. He has also served on the Rochester Life Underwriters Board of Directors.
