August 21, 2014 – BUFFALO, N.Y. – One day after Inc. magazine for a sixth consecutive year named Tully Rinckey PLLC one of America’s fastest-growing, privately owned companies, Tully Rinckey PLLC today held a grand opening for its new, larger law office in Buffalo. The grand opening highlighted the firm’s plans to significantly expand its team of distinguished attorneys in Buffalo to meet heightened demand for its services in the region – a key reason the firm has relocated to a larger space. Just last June, the firm moved its downtown Buffalo location to a 5,090-square-foot law office in a newly constructed building at 5488 Sheridan Drive.
At the grand opening, Tully Rinckey PLLC attorneys and staff welcomed a range of elected officials, community leaders and local attorneys to the new office, which is five times larger than the space the firm previously occupied in downtown Buffalo. The new office is located in a corporate facility that features 19,024 square feet and is in close proximity to numerous amenities, including lodging, restaurants, services, fitness, recreational and school opportunities. Tully Rinckey PLLC currently employs seven people in Buffalo, and the firm expects to expand significantly to employ 23 there over a three year period. Throughout Tully Rinckey PLLC’s six offices in upstate New York, Virginia and the District of Columbia, the firm employs nearly 60 attorneys. Tully Rinckey PLLC employs about 120 across the entire firm, including both attorneys and support staff.
“Tully Rinckey PLLC made a significant statement when the firm opened its doors in the Buffalo market early last year. That statement was ‘we are a full-service law firm expanding our reach statewide,’” said Tully Rinckey PLLC Founding Partner Mathew B. Tully. “Now that we have locations across the New York State Thruway in Albany, Syracuse and Rochester as well as here in Buffalo, we are making another, equally significant statement. We are saying we are in Buffalo to stay and expand in the region, and we are looking for Buffalo’s best and brightest attorneys across a range of practice areas to join our team and help us accomplish that mission.”
“When I partnered with Buffalo’s top economic development organizations to lead an economic development forum this past May, our focus was on the future of business growth in Erie County,” said Erie County District Six Legislator Edward Rath. “Collaborating to attract businesses to this county and assisting them with their goal to locate here and grow here continues to be my focus. Tully Rinckey PLLC has set a prime example of how to do this, and do it quickly. I hope other businesses follow suit.”
“Williamsville continues on a path of redevelopment and long-term economic stability through projects like Picture Main Street, which require community support and the support of area businesses to surge ahead,” said Williamsville Mayor Brian Kulpa. “Businesses show this support by joining the community and providing residents with needed services that are personal, professional and affordable. That is why I am pleased Tully Rinckey PLLC has relocated to 5488 Sheridan Drive, a location where Williamsville residents can readily take advantage of the diverse catalog of legal services offered by the firm.”
“Tully Rinckey PLLC came to Buffalo early last year, provided a range of legal services in need and in demand to consumers, and, in a short period of time, relocated to occupy a brand new, significantly larger location as a result,” said Amherst Town Councilmember Steven Sanders. “The Town of Amherst would like to congratulate the firm on its milestone move to Sheridan Drive, and officially welcome Tully Rinckey PLLC to the Amherst community.”
Inc. magazine yesterday revealed its 2014 Inc. 5000 list of America’s fastest-growing, privately owned companies. Tully Rinckey PLLC has consistently appeared on the list since 2009, and this year it was ranked as the No. 4,178 fastest-growing, privately owned company. This ranking was based on a 68.8 percent increase in revenues between 2010 and 2013. Spurring this impressive revenue growth was the firm’s new upstate offices. Within an 11-month period ending in July 2013, the firm had opened offices in Syracuse, Buffalo and Rochester. The firm entered the Buffalo legal market in January 2013.
Tully Rinckey PLLC offers Western New Yorkers a full menu of legal services that cover the areas of family and matrimonial law, criminal defense, personal injury, estate planning, Social Security law, bankruptcy, military law, and appellate law.
