Tully Rinckey PLLC has opened an office in Rochester and has named local criminal defense attorney Peter Pullano as a partner, the Albany-based law firm announced Friday.
Pullano, who has practiced law in Rochester for more than two decades, will work at the office on West Main Street, the company said.
As a solo practitioner, Pullano has defended several high profile and complex criminal cases, including those involving federal and state capital offenses. He also has represented criminal defendants at the appellate level, including the 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals and the third and fourth departments of the Supreme Court of New York, Appellate Division.
“Our continued and sustained growth is due to our disciplined focus on exceptional client service,” said Greg Rinckey, managing partner of Tully Rinckey, in a statement. “Based on our research, the market is ripe for Tully Rinckey in Rochester.”
It is the firm’s sixth office.
Last year, Inc. magazine ranked Tully Rinckey No. 1,672 on its Inc. 5000 List of America’s Fastest Growing Companies. The firm’s ranking was attributable to its 173 percent growth in revenue from 2008 to 2011. The firm was recognized by the Albany Business Review in 2012 as the third fastest growing business in Capital Region.
