Tully Rinckey PLLC, a full-service law firm with 11 offices nationwide, is seeking a Marketing Associate to join our team. This position will be based in our Albany, NY headquarters.
The Marketing Associate will report directly to the Chief Marketing Officer. This position involves working with all members of the marketing team to develop and execute strategic marketing plans and tactics to achieve new business revenue and build the firm’s practice areas. This position also involves working directly with practice area leaders and attorneys on individual marketing initiatives.
Day-to-day activities entail working in an extremely fast paced environment marketing complex areas of law.
Priority tasks and responsibilities include:
• Marketing plan development for special projects such as new practice areas, new attorneys, and office locations.
• Providing marketing support to individual attorneys and practice areas as needed.
• Working with the firm’s Director of Business Development to provide marketing support to specific initiatives as needed.
• Tracking and reporting on individual attorney marketing engagement.
• Market and competitive research as needed.
The Marketing Associate may also assist the marketing team with:
• E-mail marketing
• Social media
• PR support
• Online reputation management (ORM)
• Award submissions
Qualifications and Experience:
• Must possess a bachelor’s degree with 2-3 years of related marketing experience.
• Must be a self-starter, pro-active and able to take the lead on tasks with minimal direction.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Experience in Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience in a law firm is not required.
• Experience with any of the following: Wordpress, HubSpot or similar CRM system, Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator), E-mail marketing, Google Analytics, SEO, Social Media.
