Dick is a familiar face in local and state courts throughout the Syracuse area. With more than three decades of experience practicing law in Upstate New York, Dick has a long record of helping Central New Yorkers with a variety of legal issues. Dick is Of Counsel to the firm’s Syracuse office.
Dick joined Tully Rinckey PLLC after operating a successful law practice in Syracuse, where he handled everything from litigation to estate planning. He is also experienced in commercial and residential property transactions; representing litigants in such matters as title disputes, easements, zoning and environmental impact proceedings.
Dick received his bachelor’s degree from Hamilton College and his juris doctorate from Syracuse University College of Law. He is a U.S. Marine Corps veteran, having served as both a JAG officer and military judge. He is a member of the Onondaga County Bar Association, New York Bar Association and American Bar Association. For many years, Dick has been a continuing legal education lecturer, covering such topics as real estate transactions, easements and rights of way, adverse possession and road access law.
When not at work, Dick contributes his extra time to the not-for-profit corporation, Literacy CNY, which concentrates on teaching adults to read.
