After a more than 30-year illustrious federal career, Nicole is joining Tully Rinckey bringing vast experience in federal employment law. Over her career, she served as Agency Representative before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC). She served as Second Chair in Federal District Court cases. Nicole gained a reputation for being able to identify common ground with opposing counsel that led to settlement agreements. She held the highest settlement agreement rate during her tenure with the Department of Agriculture’s Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service’s Office of Civil Rights. Additionally, Nicole worked on the Black Farmers’ Consent Decree processing more than 2,000 settlement agreements.

For the past 17 years, Nicole served as the Senior EEO Advisor for the United States Department of Commerce’s National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration Research. In this capacity, she advised senior management on issues in the workplace related to sexual harassment, disability, racial and gender discrimination and retaliation. Nicole advised employees on the federal complaint process. She worked with the Office of General Counsel to ensure the Agency’s compliance with laws, rules and statutes.

With a passion for public service, Nicole founded her own law practice and successfully operated for 8 years. Her areas of practice included employment law, Wills, Trusts and Estates and Business Law.

Nicole has also served as the National Vice President of Compliance for the Federally Employed Women (FEW), an advocacy group working to improve the status of women employed by the Federal Government and the District of Columbia Government.
