The best laid plans will not always work as expected.  Leaders, whether military or civilian, work tirelessly to develop the best plan for their unit’s success.  We gather intelligence, we assess our resources, we put key personnel in the best positions, and we develop our plans with what we have.  Hopefully, we even spend time building in contingencies. 

Occasionally, we are hit with a surprise that was nearly impossible to plan for. If you planned to have you business significantly affected by a super virus this year, then congratulations.

You’ve probably got the market cornered.  If you are like the rest of us, you are executing your contingency plans and hoping to come out of this stronger than you were when you went in.  Don’t forget the importance of your relationships with your influencers!
