Nancy Nissen, Esq., is a Partner in Tully Rinckey’s White Plains, NY, office, where she primarily focuses her practice on family and matrimonial law, in addition to labor and employment law.
Nancy brings her extensive experience as an accomplished family and matrimonial law attorney to the firm. She began her career as a Special Assistant Corporation Counsel for the City of New York. There, she handled matters related to family law, neglect, and abuse, and then went on to represent spouses and parents going through divorce and matters related to child custody and child support litigation, as well as all areas of matrimonial and family law.
Nancy also possesses a unique perspective on labor and employment law, attained from her prior experience as in-house counsel for a large family-owned property management company. She has experience representing and advising the company in various types of employment-related matters, in addition to a strong record of successful appellate work experience.
During her time as associate general counsel, Nancy provided advice and guidance on an extensive range of employment-related issues, including discrimination, harassment, unemployment, union grievances, and arbitrations. Her experience gives her insight into the problems employers confront every day. She understands the complex challenges faced by employers and the strategies corporations need to utilize to mitigate risk and protect their employees.
