ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — The U.S. gave full approval to Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine on Monday, a milestone that may help lift public confidence in the shots as the nation battles the most contagious coronavirus mutant yet.
“Today’s change gives businesses and public agencies more credibility when they choose to impose a mandate,” said Peter Pullano who is an attorney with the Rochester law firm Tully Rinckey. He said even in its emergency state the vaccine could be mandated by public and private venues but now they have an even stronger case. “I think one of the biggest objections to mandates is off the table.”
