Albany-based law firm opens office in area

An Albany-based law firm is another step closer to covering all of New York with the opening of a Greater Binghamton office.

Tully Rinckey has opened a full-service law practice at 4100 Old Vestal Road in Vestal, headed up by former Broome County Family Court Judge Peter Charnetsky.

The firm already has offices in Albany, Syracuse, Rochester, Buffalo, Washington D.C. and San Diego handling family and matrimonial law, civil litigation, criminal defense, trust and estates and real estate law.

Charnetsky said he was attracted by Tully Rinckey’s ability to provide specialists in marketing, accounting and customer relations.

“They have wonderful client support that they can offer our clients, something well beyond what I could have offered as an individual. Something that is very unique, as far as I’m concerned, not only in Broome County but throughout New York State,” he said.

Tully Rinckey also represents military law clients.

It touts a high-definition video conferencing system that allows it to consult with service members overseas.

The firm is looking to add more attorneys to its Vestal branch.
