Law Firm Opens in Amherst

Albany-based law firm Tully Rinckey PLLC opened a new regional office in Amherst that is five times the size of what it had downtown since January 2013, and expects to triple the size of its staff within three years.

The fast-growing firm, founded 10 years ago by two military veterans, moved to a 5,090-square-foot suite in a newly constructed 19,024-square-foot facility at 5488 Sheridan Drive, built by Zaepfel Development Co. The firm now employs seven at the office, including three attorneys, and expects to grow to 23 by 2017, including seven more attorneys, as it expands its practice areas locally.
