William A. Snedeker, Esq. is Of Counsel to the Firm located in New York City. He concentrates his practice in corporate and securities law and focuses on the representation of private equity funds, as well as commercial real estate financings, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate finance matters

Mr. Snedeker has handled numerous acquisitions and dispositions of stock and assets for public and private companies, including merger transactions, leveraged acquisitions, and post-bankruptcy asset dispositions. He has also represented institutional investors in commercial real estate financing transactions and has prepared offering memoranda and governing documents for private equity funds, venture capital funds, co-investment funds and funds of funds. Mr. Snedeker has also negotiated and documented numerous venture capital fund investments and private equity fund investments in portfolio companies.

Mr. Snedeker has represented issuers in structured finance transactions, including residential mortgage-backed securities and commercial mortgage-backed securities transactions.

Mr. Snedeker has represented numerous lenders and borrowers in syndicated loan, loan participation, acquisition financing, revolving credit and term loan transactions.

Mr. Snedeker has also handled conduit loan financings of Manhattan office buildings and other commercial real estate properties. He has also handled financings and sales of commercial real estate loan portfolios as well as mortgage loan modification transactions.

Mr. Snedeker received his Juris Doctor from Georgetown University Law Center in 1983. Prior to law school, he received his B.A. in American History from Amherst College, cum laude, in 1979.

Mr. Snedeker is an active member of the Structured Finance Committee of the New York City Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association, and the Economic Club of New York. He is also a trustee of The Holland Society of New York and a member of The Society of Colonial Wars, The St. Nicholas Society, The Pilgrims of the United States and the National Committee on American Foreign Policy.
