Tracy
Dam Chieco,
Esq. is
an
associate
with
Tully
Rinckey PLLC
and
concentrates
her
practice
in the
firm's
Appellate
and
Adoptions
practice.
Tracy
provides services for both appellants who wish to overturn a
lower court order, decision, verdict or judgment, as well as
respondents who wish to uphold their lower court success.
She practices predominantly in the areas of criminal and
family law appeals at the State and Federal level and also
handles appellate motions, including but not limited to,
motions to reinstate abandoned appeals and motions to
consolidate different matters.
Tracy
received her undergraduate degree from the University at
Albany where she majored in History. She went on to receive her Juris Doctor from Albany Law School at Union University.
While attending law school she was active with the Moot
Court Board as an associate member, coach of the
International Law Moot Court team and member of the ABA
National Appellate Advocacy Moot Court Team. Tracy also
interned in the New York State Legislature and with the
United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit with
the Honorable Roger J. Miner.
Tracy
is an active member of the New York State, American and
Albany County Bar Associations, the Young Lawyer's
Association as well as the Capital District Women's Bar
Association.
Tracy has been appointed to the New York State Bar
Association’s committee on Courts of Appellate Jurisdiction,
is a member of the
Gilda's Club Young Leadership
Council and is the regional coordinator for the Greene County high school mock trial competition.
