A native to the Capital Region, Melissa was born and raised in Troy. She received her high school diploma through Penn Foster after being home schooled. In 2000 Melissa received her Associates Degree in Paralegal Studies from Mildred Elley College.

Prior to joining Tully Rinckey, she spent two years in Las Vegas, working as a paralegal for the firm Boyack and Beck. She aided attorneys at this firm in the areas of personal injury, medical malpractice and on cases involving construction defects.

Outside the office, Melissa enjoys spending time with her family, scrapbooking and a good movie.
