Lou Szasz brings an extensive military background to Tully Rinckey which serves as a great asset to our employment law practice.  Sergeant First Class (Retired) Szasz’s military service began in 1985 as a Private in the active U.S. Army serving as an engineer stationed in Hanau, Germany. After a short tour he was selected for an assignment with the Military Entrance Processing Command in Albany, New York achieving the rank of Specialist. Lou transferred to the 2nd Infantry Division stationed in South Korea and then to the 902nd Engineer Battalion stationed at Fort Belvoir, VA.

In 1988 Lou enlisted into the New York Army National Guard working in the Active Guard Reserve (AGR) program in various positions achieving the rank of Sergeant First Class. Lou retired from the military in 2006 after serving over 20 years of service. After his retirement, Lou was awarded a Department of Defense contract working with the New York Army National Guard Recruiting and Retention Command serving as the supervisor of the Recruit Sustainment Program for New York State.
