Capital Region Attorney Signed as Nationally Syndicated Columnist

October 9, 2007– Albany, NY – Greg T. Rinckey, the Managing Partner of Tully Rinckey, PLLC has recently been asked to write a syndicated column for the Federal Times. Beginning the week of October 8, the bi-weekly “Ask the Lawyer” column will focus on topics including employment law, federal procurement law, and general litigation.

The Federal Times is often viewed as the premiere newspaper for government executives. The weekly publication is distributed throughout all 50 states and reaches more than 5,300 high-level decision makers within the federal government. Additionally, the newspaper is hand-delivered to every member of Congress and key legislative staff members.

“I hope for this column to become a resource for federal officials. Law is constantly evolving and the importance of understanding new legal developments is immeasurable, especially among such key figures within the government,” said Rinckey. “I am looking forward to sharing my legal knowledge and views through such a respected publication.”

While in the United States Army, Rinckey served as an attorney in the Judge Advocate General’s Corps for six years. During this service, he prosecuted and defended over a hundred felony cases with charges ranging from drug possession to murder. Rinckey joined fellow Hofstra University alum Mathew B. Tully to form Tully Rinckey, PLLC in 2005. Rinckey is frequently viewed as an expert regarding military law and both of the firm’s partners are nationally syndicated columnists.
