Rinckey Featured on Federal Employment Law Panel
March 26, 2009 –
Washington, DC –
On April 2, the Federal Circuit Bar Association’s Merit Systems Protection Board Committee will sponsor a seminar exploring federal employment law. “An Introduction to MSPB and Federal Circuit Personnel Practice” will provide a basic overview to the substantive and procedural issues that are presented when practicing before the two courts.

Among the panel’s featured speakers is Greg T. Rinckey, Esq. managing partner of Tully Rinckey PLLC. Rinckey focuses his practice on federal employment law and has frequently had success with cases before the Federal Circuit and the MSPB. In addition, Rinckey is the featured legal columnist for the Federal Times, a publication targeted towards managers in the federal workforce.
Attendees will hear Rinckey’s insight on the evaluation of cases dealing with issues such as adverse actions and whistleblowing, current case law, and practice tips for practitioners representing either employees or federal agencies.
Additional panel speakers include Jeffrey Gauger, attorney for the Office of Special Counsel of the MSPB, and Eric Daniels, assistant director of the Labor and Employment Law Office for the Department of Justice. MSPB Chief Administrative Judge Jeremiah Cassidy will serve as moderator for the panel.
The seminar begins at 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at 1620 I Street, NW Suite 900 in Washington, DC. Those interested in attending outside of Washington, DC can participate online via webcast.
